Team training

“Radical ideas spread through conversations, questions, and interactions”

- Adrienne Maree Brown

Our workshops are social movements, practicing at a small scale what you most want to see for the whole system. Transform your team to transform the work experience.”

the art of Feedback

"Honest and timely feedback is a vital factor in a high performance workplace”

— Gilmore Crosby

what we do

Having a perspective to offer is crucial in the workspace. Feedback becomes your primary wellspring of insights if you aim to establish, uphold, and reinforce authentic relationships. Its active engagement is also essential in aiding employees to enhance their performance, achieve objectives, and mend relationships. The absence of feedback carries the risk of misunderstandings and deficiencies in communication.

In every encounter, you will come across employees presenting varying narratives, theories, and outlooks on a specific situation. Adding to the complexity, your filter might perceive something entirely distinct, occasionally contradicting group norms. This creates a significant potential for misjudgment at any stage of the feedback process, starting with the formidable task of comprehending your motives and intentions.

In this workshop, you will learn how to provide interpersonal feedback effectively and understand how your interpretations impact the final result. The focus is on recognizing facts from misleading perceptions and identifying patterns in your thinking. Ultimately, the goal is to create an environment that maximizes the opportunity to openly express your thoughts and emotions to others.

the power of Conflict

“Difficulties are meant to rouse, not discourage. The human spirit is to grow strong by conflict.”

— William Ellery Channing

what we do

We ALL long to be seen, heard, understood, and valued for exactly who we are and the contributions we bring. We aspire to establish profound social bonds and connections that provide strength and motivation. Ultimately, we desire empathy—the ability to understand and share in the emotions of others.

Fortunately, the talent of empathy is a gift from our biology, but like with other human potentials, empathy requires experiences to develop and endure.

At the EMOTIVE lab, we empower you to expand your natural empathy to new dimensions. We believe in your ability to view your employees with a fresh perspective, which can increase your appreciation of their contributions. This newfound understanding can inspire you to make informed choices and take decisive actions. We will equip you with skills to create a workplace where emotions are embraced rather than resisted. You will no longer be overwhelmed by emotions, but instead, you will harness them to work for you and your team.

the heart of Empathy

“We are learning, against all the prevailing wisdom, that human nature is not to seek autonomy—to become an island to oneself—but, rather, to seek companionship, affection and intimacy.”

— Jeremy Rifkin

what we do

Conflict is messy. We know this, acknowledge it, and are humbled by its necessity and proximity to our humanity. We believe that conflict is natural and is purposeful in moving us closer to the depths of another—sharing deeply their passions, cares, vulnerabilities, and all else that makes them genuine and uniquely imperfect.

However, this inevitable disturbance of balance gives rise to conflict zones, nourishing feelings of isolation, employee disengagement, and defensive behaviors, leading to employee burnout. These patterns construct an inhospitable terrain for the growth of trust, collaboration, and creativity. Moreover, we’ve observed a considerable allocation of resources and focus toward surface-level issues rather than addressing the fundamental ones. This is often because the authentic nature of conflict is intricate, multifaceted, and distinct for each situation.

At The EMOTIVE Lab, we guide you through an internal transformative journey where leaders and teams can address conflict at its core, replacing conflict zones with zones of constructive engagement. We equip you with the tools to diagnose and reassess your understanding of conflict, fostering an environment that encourages curiosity, empathy, and mindful approaches to forging connections across diverse perspectives.
