about
Awakening the deeper intelligence within leadership and organizations.
At The EMOTIVE Lab, we design and facilitate experiences that invite leaders and teams to move beyond performance—and into presence.
We work with organizations that are ready to explore leadership not just as strategy, but as a practice of awareness, embodiment, and connection.
Through workshops, retreats, and coaching, we guide leaders to:
deepen self-awareness
navigate complexity with emotional intelligence
engage in more conscious, human-centered dialogue
and reconnect with the underlying wisdom within themselves and their systems
Our approach integrates reflective practice, somatic awareness, and experiential learning—creating space for insight, alignment, and meaningful transformation.
We offer:
Leadership workshops & retreats
Experiential trainings
1:1 coaching
Dr. Lisa Ike-Alvarez
Lisa Ike- Alvarez (she, hers) Lisa Obianuju Alvarez (she/her) is a leadership coach, facilitator, and organizational consultant who designs transformational spaces where people and organizations reconnect with their deeper intelligence—and lead from it.
With over a decade of experience, Lisa partners with leaders and teams to move beyond performance rooted in pressure, and into alignment rooted in presence, truth, and connection. Her work centers on a simple but powerful shift: when individuals reconnect with themselves, the systems they are part of begin to transform.
Lisa is a certified executive coach through the Hudson Coaching Institute, bringing a rigorous developmental lens to her work alongside her intuitive and relational approach. She is known for creating environments that are both grounded and expansive—spaces where reflection, somatic awareness, honest dialogue, and collective inquiry lead to meaningful breakthroughs. Rather than prescribing solutions, she facilitates experiences that allow individuals and teams to access their own clarity, wisdom, and capacity for change.
Her work was born from a deep inquiry: what becomes possible when leadership is no longer driven by scarcity, fear, or disconnection? This question led her through years of study, practice, and personal transformation—and ultimately to the creation of her own body of work, focused on helping leaders come back into relationship with themselves, their people, and the environments they shape.
Lisa specializes in designing and facilitating workshops for leaders and organizations ready to evolve how they work, relate, and lead. Her approach invites a shift from perfection to presence, from control to connection, and from individual performance to collective aliveness.
She holds a BA in Psychology, an MA in Counseling Psychology, a PsyD in Organizational Development, and a certification in Interpersonal Dynamics from the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland.
Our approach
At The EMOTIVE Lab, we don’t separate performance from humanity—we work at the intersection of both.
We partner with individuals and teams to create spaces where honesty, reflection, and embodied awareness are not only welcomed, but necessary. This is not about quick fixes or surface-level solutions. It’s about slowing down enough to notice what’s true, and using that awareness to move differently.
Our work is relational, experiential, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens when people feel safe enough to be real—and supported enough to grow.
Together, we explore patterns, challenge assumptions, and reconnect you to the clarity and capacity that already exists within you. From there, new ways of leading, collaborating, and performing naturally emerge.
